Instructions:
For this holiday craft project you will need:

1) wood slices (available from Amazon- see to the right)
2) Modge Podge  sealer
3) sand paper
4) sparkles
5) paper print of image - download file below
6) acrylic paints (optional)
7) jute string - to hang as ornaments
8) fridge magnets (if making a fridge magnet)

To begin you will need to lightly sand the front of the wood slice where you will be placing the paper image.
Next, print out the color sheet of the Valentine puppy below. For best results a laser printer will work well when working with Modge Podge glue. Any printing place such as Kinko's will have this type of service.
continued:
A image to the left is provided (click on). Print  and cut out the image. Brush an even layer of Modge Podge on the face of the wood piece. Then place the cut image on top, evenly smoothing out the paper right out to the edges. You can use a soft type paper towel to rub on top of the paper making sure there are no air bubbles. Let dry. About 2 - 3 hours. Once dry, paint a thin layer of Modge Podge over the dried paper image. BEFORE the glue dries, (optional) sprinkle a dusting of desired sparkle on the face of the image. Let dry .
If this is a wood necklace, or an ornament -
once completely dry, drill a small hole on the top to lace a ribbon, jute string or a chain through.
