Start by sanding the plaque smooth use acrylic paints from background to foreground, using thin washes for the flowers and thicker, textured strokes for the leaves, bird, and lettering; let each layer dry. For hanging, install two small eye screws near the top corners, thread and twist a length of galvanized or stainless-steel wire through them, secure with tight wraps and a small crimp or loop, and test the balance so the plaque hangs level.
