Transfer the outline onto the cutout AFTER the base coat has been painted. For example- if the ghost is white, paint it white first, then tranfer the pattern onto the painted surface.

Here is a delightful Halloween sign you can make from wood. Click on the pattern and transfer onto pine wood. For best results, paint the base of this Halloween pattern, let dry - then using graphite paper, transfer the design onto the wood (on top of the painted base coat).
Suggested colors for the cat and pumpkins: paint the cat black. Base coat paint the pumpkins orange. Transfer the design on the dried base coat. Then fill in with details. Hint- you can use a Sharpie brand marker for the face if desired.

This is a nice Halloween pattern of Dracula you can use for several fun holiday craft projects:

1) Use this on a Halloween cake: Print out this picture of Dracula onto card stock. By having the paper a bit thick, take an exact o knife and cut out the face. Sprinkle powdered sugar through the holes of the stencil onto the top of a chocolate cake. Or you could also paste white or yellow frosting through the holes as well.
2) Perfect for displaying in windows. Using black card stock, transfer the face onto the stock. Cut out the eyes, nose and mouth. Place in a back lite window.
