(1) First you will want to prepare your wood by lightly sanding the surface where the design will go.
(2) Copy the pattern image to your computer. Buy clear overhead projector sheets. As long as you have a inkjet printer this process of transferring design to wood will work. (3) Print the wood burning pattern outline on the clear overhead projector sheet. (4) Take the printed clear sheet out from the printer. Place the ink – side down on the wood -before the ink can dry. The wet ink will now adhere to the wood. Clean your clear sheet of the ink and you can use it over and over again. |
